RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develops, integrates and documents structural requirements to establish the system design from a internal and external loads perspective. Coordinates with other engineering groups to establish the products environment. Guides product design by using and developing analytical methods, finite element models/simulations and other analysis tools throughout the product lifecycle to develop the structural loads environment. Defines and documents certification and test results to substantiate for customers and regulatory agencies that requirements are satisfied. Supports in-service products by investigating failures and analyzing improvements. Works under minimal direction.
REQUIREMENTS:
Experience with static and dynamic loads analysis is required. Familiarity with FAA certification requirements is preferred. Knowledge of computer programming including FORTRAN is preferred. Knowledge of client specific static loads process such as knowledge of CONGEN, XSLIP, TS70, TS276, TS353, and TS331 codes is preferred.
EDUCATION:
Must have an ABET accredited minimum BS Engineering degree.
WORK HOURS: 7:00 - 3:30
