Job Description Fields
As a Stress Engineer your experience & qualifications should include Degree/HND/HNC or Equivalent in Mechanical / Aeronautical Engineering Recognised Engineering Apprenticeship Preferred. Stress analysis experience with finite element analysis in conjunction with basic hand calculations in an aerospace environment. Knowledge of MSC Patran & Nastran preferred. Experience with any of the following would also be advantageous: Dynamic analysis; Vibration; Fatigue; Damage Tolerance; Non linear analysis. Conversant with Microsoft Office applications. What we expect from you You will have good communication skills able to work across many departments and teams. You will have initiative & drive along with being an able problem solver.
