You will be responsible for the organization, review and development of all operational and system support aspects in Stores Department necessary for efficient execution of internal processes pertaining for materials movements. You will be asked to manage, motivate and develop team of employees in order to attain high- standard operation; to promote safe environment and to create conditions necessary for continuous improvement. Also, you will be required to assume responsibility to design and implement efficient internal control measures with full compliance with external and internal requirements.About You
In this position, you will be responsible for analyzing, reviewing and developing operational and system support aspects in Stores Department necessary for efficient internal logistics. You will also be in charge of liaising with to a third party logistics 3 PL partner and identifies measures to improve and develop external logistics. Moreover you will a develop Training matrix and implements Training programme for Stores employees to ensure safe environment as well as review and participate in development of Standard Operating procedures (SOPs).
Additionally you will lead and manage a team, by establishing team objectives and priorities to align with and support business objectives and regularly evaluates team's objectives, plans, procedures and practices, and makes appropriate changes if needed. Also, you will take responsibility for own ongoing personal development and growth of expertise and trains and develops other employees, for proper succession planning and risk management.
Finally you will be responsible to ensure that employees at all levels understand work health and safety requirements and expectations through provision of relevant QR Group induction, information instruction, training and supervision. You will also ensure that all managers and supervisors understand work health and safety requirements and expectations to the extent that they can pass on relevant information, identify training needs and provide appropriate supervision in their workplace.
In order to be eligible for this role, you would possess a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Management and have a minimum 7 years of job- related experience. You would have previous experience in FMCG and relevant experience in in-flight catering company. Additionally, you would possess excellent communication skills and the ability to manage and influence. Advance knowledge of MS Office and familiarity with an ERP and WMS suites is essential for this role.
