Reporting to the AVP Supply and Contracts, the Stores Manager is responsible for the organisation and maintenance of the Lagos Store function within Engineering to ensure that parts and materials are stored and controlled in accordance with statutory requirements. Liaison with other Engineering Managers to ensure parts and materials are supplied as and when required. To direct the activities of personnel within the stores.
Direct Responsibilities:
To manage the Base Stores at Lagos and other locations as necessary ensuring that all objectives are met on time and within budget and in accordance with the Company working instructions.
To ensure that each Line Store is audited on an agreed "rolling basis".
To ensure that Production receive the necessary support to ensure that all aircraft maintenance is achieved on time and in a cost effective manner.
To ensure the efficient and timely despatch of all items between Stores or Vendors especially taking account of hazardous shipments etc.
To ensure that the department operates a timely and effective goods receiving policy paying special attention to the validity of all items received by inspection of transit condition, approved paperwork, compliance with orders etc.
The Work Pattern is 8 Weeks ON / 2 Weeks Off
