Station/ Maintenance Manager

Permanent Position

Location - Germany

CAE Parc Aviation is exclusively assisting a key client with the recruitment of a Station/ Maintenance Manager. 

The successful candidate will come from an engineering background and will ideally be experienced in putting together an MOE and running multiple line stations.

Responsibilities;

  • Advise and ensure the facility establishes a fully functional Maintenance and Engineering Department with necessary regulatory approvals.
  • Liaise with and advise on planning and implementation of the Maintenance and Engineering strategy.
  • Develop Project Plans and Compliance Listings to gain EASA accreditations
  • Coordinate and oversee certification aspects  for our Part 145 division.
  • Act as a liaison to EASA regarding submission and approvals.
  • Remain knowledgeable in all applicable EASA regulations and processes.
  • Identify and recommend continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Actively works to improve daily processes, and ensures all work meets completion requirements.
  • Performs other duties Provide management and technical assistance to the CEO to achieve the objectives.
  • Mentor, coach and advise the local management on international best practices for the maintenance organisation.
  • Liaise with the personnel to ensure satisfactory completion of all work required.
  • Implementation of our client’s organisational procedures and standards.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • 10+ years in aviation industry, preferably within a line maintenance environment.
  • Project Management Experience
  • More than 8+ years of experience in managing a sizable engineering team.
  • An EASA AML with a 767 type rating - currency is not essential.
