As part of that goal, there is an opportunity to make a difference as a Service Delivery Shift Leader based at our Bristol unit. Reporting into the Operations Manager you will ensure the success and smooth running of the Airside operation when on shift.

What the role is:

To be an active team member ensuring that all work is completed in accordance with a daily work schedule. As a shift leader you will be responsible for ensuring that information received is communicated to the appropriate parties in a timely, effective manner developing and sustaining effective customer relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. You will direct a productive, result driven team ensuring that all compliance standards are met.

What you’ll be doing will include:

Ensure work is completed according to daily work schedules and all costs are within agreed targets

Manage the roster effectively on a shift basis to ensure the work schedule is maintained whilst being mindful of costs

Responsible for ensuring that team members carry out duties in line with work schedule

Monitor work, highlight and escalate any issues accordingly

Ensure the work schedule is maintained by shift, taking effective corrective action as required highlighting any on-going issues to the appropriate Shift Leader/ Operations Manager

Ensure standards of external and internal customer service are met

Deal with all issues or customer requests in a timely manner, escalating matters which cannot be resolved to the appropriate manager

Adhere to all Legislation, Company Policy And Customer Requirements and ensure team members follow agreed procedures

Ensure HACCP, Food and Personal Hygiene Procedures are adhered to at all times

Carry out Daily Compliance Checks and communicate any issues appropriately

Ensure housekeeping activities are undertaken by team members

Ensure training needs are identified and highlighted to the relevant Manager

Ensure effective handover with colleagues to ensure any issues are dealt with effectively

What you’ll have will include:

Excellent people management skills

Be competent using IT Skills; Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel

Ability to plan, organise and delegate

Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Understanding of Operational Management Systems

Possess an understanding of Airline Security knowledge

Possess an LGV Class 2 licence
