Responsible to handle an Operations Shift independently and able to control the department activities as a whole, if the need arises .
To manage all operational aspects of service delivery department during the shift and ensure that products and services for flights and non- flights orders (Lounges, Crew training,etc..) are delivered to agreed standards within the budget and in line with the hygiene procedures. Implements management instructions including customer service aircraft delivery and handling, food safety, HACCAP, quality control and Health & Safety as well the implementation of full ramp safety program and the compliance of the Department with all documents that should be used during training and monitoring. Managing the maintenance of Qatar Aircraft Catering Company (QACC) transport fleet by coordination with Qatar Aviation Services (QAS) maintenance and other service providers regarding the maintenance schedule and reporting any maintenance discrepancies during the dayPerson
Ideally you will have at least 5 years’ of job related experience with previous work experience in a medium/ large flight catering unit leading a team of operations staff in the position of Duty manger/ officer Industry. You will hold a Bachelors Degree . You must have prior experience in working for a high performance driven organisation and knowledge of airport and flight catering.
You have the ability to delegate work, set clear direction and manage workflow, strong mentoring and coaching skills, ability to train and develop subordinate's skills, ability to foster teamwork among team members, well developed interpersonal skills, and excellent written and oral communication skills.
