Senior System Specialist, Revenue Management

SAS IT & Digital Innovation is responsible for all IT within Scandinavian Airlines. The organization has its primary location, the SAS Head Office at Frösundavik in Solna, outside Stockholm.

In the role of Senior System Specialist, Revenue Management, you are a key player in the further development, ongoing delivery and adoption of new functionality in SAS Revenue Management platform delivered by Amadeus.

You will be responsible for maximizing SAS business performance through provision of highly efficient and innovative IT solutions primarily within the Revenue Management platform.

You will be the 1st point of contact for SAS Revenue Management in the IT-service area, and corresponding contact against external IT-suppliers i.e. Amadeus. The Senior System Specialist will ensure that the operational delivery of the IT-services in this area is per agreements and business need. You will also, proactively and in close cooperation with the business representatives and the IT-suppliers, support further business process development and ensure continuous improvement of the IT-services.

Main areas of responsibilities:

Responsible for regular meetings/workshops and follow up with business representatives and IT-suppliers

* Responsible for supporting business representatives to describe and specify requirements, to order change requests, and to secure plans for delivery of changes

* Responsible for supporting the IT-suppliers with knowledge and guidance

* Responsible for supporting development projects in the Service area

* Responsible for collaboration and relations with external IT service providers and IT-vendors in defined parts of the IT-services in the Service area

* Responsible for internal collaboration and relations with other parts of IT and SAS in the defined parts of the IT-services in the Service area

Experience and Background desired:

*
University degree or equivalent

* Experience from handling off-shore delivery teams

* Experience from a similar position in a large organization, working with external suppliers

* Extensive experience of supporting business representatives in relevant business processes

* Experience of application maintenance and development

* Experience of supplier management

* Knowledge of ITIL

* Knowledge of relevant business processes on a specialist level

* Relevant airline distribution and core processing knowledge is preferred

* Team management/project leadership in a multi-national environment

* Fluent English and Scandinavian in speech and writing
