Monarch Engineering; Line Maintenance provider of the year 2017; are in their 50th year.   We are a dedicated and customer focused company who are looking for a Technical Services Engineer (Propulsion) to be based at Luton.

Role

The position of Technical Service Engineer (Propulsion) is to be based at our site in Luton to ensure the continued airworthiness of engines and nacelles are maintained in accordance with airworthiness requirements and company procedures, development of Maintenance Program, manage the engine shop visits and the preparation of invoices for approval 

 

Key Responsibilities

The Key Responsibilities of the Technical Service Engineer (Propulsion) to be based at our site in Luton are;

Continued Airworthiness:

Ensuring that the engines are maintained in accordance with the rules and regulations of Part M subpart ‘G’

Part 145 Support:

Provide technical support to Line, Base Maintenance and Aircraft Engine Support

Shop Visit Management & Work scope Planning:

Provide engine shop visit support to ensure the engines, APU’s and nacelles are maintained to the Monarch requirements

Invoice review and analysing:

Analyse invoice for approval & provide Commercial support for contract negotiation

Third Party Support:

Provide third party support for operators

Requirements

The successful candidate for the Technical Support Engineer (Propulsion) will have the following attributes: 

 

Must have knowledge of PART M Subpart ‘G’ requirements and regulations

Experience of maintenance support, specifically engines

Extensive demonstrable experience within either a relevant EASA Part M Sub-Part G organisation or Part 145 organisation.

Understand the process associated with ADs and SBs associated with allocated engines.

Complete Airworthiness tasks as delegated by the Propulsion Team Leader.

Focal point for acceptance and agreement of technical services activities associated with allocated engines

Technical understanding of the allocated engines.
