Client:

Our Client is the world's leading Flight Data Monitoring (FDM) and Flight Operations Quality Assurance (FOQA) provider, offering a wealth of aviation safety expertise to aircraft operators of all sizes. They are now seeking a Senior Flight Data Analyst. As a Flight Data Analyst you will help improve the safety of our customers operations by analysing their flight data and providing them with flight safety support and advice.

Main Tasks of Job:

  • Routine analysis of downloaded flight data.
  • Act as the first point of contact and maintain regular communications with a number of allocated customer accounts.
  • Write case study documents based on FDM findings.
  • Participate in and help develop the Continuous Professional Development programme for Analysts, ensuring we provide customers with a high quality and consistent analysis service.
  • Liaise with the Software Development Team and Customers on the continuous improvement and development of our web-based analysis platform POLARIS.
  • Attend industry conferences and exhibitions as required. 
  • Represent the company and its customers at international flight safety committees, forums

and working groups (UKFSC, ERAA etc).

  • Assist with sales and marketing, representing the company at international flight safety conferences and exhibitions.
  • Contribute to the global safety community by preparing case study documents based on FDM findings and presenting papers at events.
  • At least 10 years flying experience in commercial aviation.
  • Experience in Flight Safety Management.
  • Experience using Flight Data Monitoring software
  • Knowledge of Safety Management Systems
  • Knowledge of air accident investigation
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Confident presenter

The successful candidate will have the ability to work as a team member and on their own initiative, prioritise workload and meet deadlines under pressure.  The position requires a competent communicator to present confidently to colleagues and multi-national audiences.
