Our client is a global oilfield provider of engineered services and products primarily to the offshore oil and gas industry, with a focus on deepwater applications. Through the use of its applied technology expertise the client also serves the defense and aerospace industries. Their business offerings include remotely operated vehicles, built-to-order specialty subsea hardware, deepwater intervention and manned diving services, non-destructive testing and inspections, mobile offshore production systems, and engineering and project management.
Duties & Responsibilities:
As a Pipeline Engineer, you will assist in the Pipeline Integrity Management of various oil production facilities and with the effective provision and operation of inspection systems and services to the allocated offshore platforms.
Duties to include:
Prepare and implement inspection strategies to ensure that pipelines, risers and ESDVs are certified in accordance with the companies codes of practice, strategies and offshore legislation.
Manage internal and external inspections and to assess the remaining operational life of the pipelines.
Incorporated Engineer / Degree or HNC Level
Practical experience in a similar role and commensurate with this position essential, including work in Pipeline Integrity Management
Good management and communication skills
