It's no different when it comes to the technology that supports our mission, as you'll discover when you join us as a Senior Architect.
As an industry expert you'll be a visionary, coach and business liaison. In this high profile role you'll be ensuring the architecture's fit for purpose and explaining it to a range of stakeholders. This will in turn see you'll facilitating business decisions and enabling important changes . You'll bring specialist skills and deep or broad expertise to your assignments, and provide expert advice and assistance to British Airways colleagues in understanding business objectives. In short, you'll be recognised for shaping the BA business agenda, investment plans and specific projects.
Specifically, it'll see you identify opportunities for business, information and technology change which support business plan objectives. And then you'll use your exemplary influencing skills to persuade stakeholders to take action. You'll make sure all architecture activity in your area is aligned in terms of business vision and goals, and work with other architects to make sure there's no duplication across the organisation.
You'll have experience of successfully completing significant architecture and consultancy assignments, and of leading activities within your specialist area. Your background will cover process/business analysis or business strategy, and you'll be working towards TOGAF level 1 certification. Not least, you'll be a gifted leader and influencer, while on the technical side you'll know how to create transition roadmaps and architectural assets that influencing the portfolio.
