Our client are currently looking for a Sales Manager who will working closely with the Director of Sales to manage the local corporate business segment along with other regional focuses including the crew segment, networking and developing new corporate and meeting & events business in the local area.
·Manage a portfolio of local corporate accounts to ensure that corporate, meetings & events bookings and revenue from each individual company is maximised.
·Arrange and attend corporate review appointments with current local corporate accounts.
·Conduct research to source new clients, particularly from the local corporate market. Make, attend and follow up from appointments with these companies.
·Organise and host client events/corporate hospitality for the Exec Club (local corporate bookers).
·Arrange and host familiarisation trips for your clients when relevant
·Attend local networking events to source new contacts, and follow up with these.
·Work with Marketing & PR Manager on relevant campaigns.
·Support the Director of Sales with any proactive sales events/sale blitz activity.
·Ensure knowledge of local competitors is kept up to date and feedback information to Director of Sales and at Revenue Meetings.
·Plan and host Wedding Showcases, MICE Showcases and any other client events.
·Support the Director of Sales with attendance at regional/national exhibitions and events.
·Attend and play an active role in the weekly Revenue Meetings, monthly Business Review Meetings and quarterly Advisory Meetings.
·Assist in hosting of hotel events including Screen on the Lawn, Wedding Showcases and Christmas Party Nights.
·Provide administrative support to the Sales Team as required.
·Ensure all databases are kept up to date.
·Attend relevant meetings and report on sales activity.
·Good depth of experience in M&E Coordination
·Good communicator and strong at maintaining existing client relationships
·Ability to do some pro-active Business Development
·Have good communication and attention to detail
·Previous experience in a sales driven environment
·Able to multi task in a demanding environment
·Possess excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office and the ability to use hotel computer and phone systems effectively and efficiently.
·Pro-actively present and demonstrate activities to increase profit.
