Responsibilities:

  • Develop, plan and manage implementation of sales and market coverage and strategies
  • Determine growth opportunities to ensure an effective sales and market coverage
  • Manage the budget preparation process
  • Monitor and analyse individual aircraft’s sales figures and trends, investigate reasons for changes and disseminate information to all stakeholders, making recommendations and ensuring corrective actions
  • Monitor performance data and achieve Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) pertaining to sales and revenue
  • Develop and implement sales procedures and policies in line with the industry best practices
  • Leading the sales team in the planning and implementation of market and new customer penetration strategies to cultivate and capture new business opportunities
  • Prepare reports for the company on sales and market growth results and recommend the necessary changes to ensure that the desired results are achieved in a rapidly changing and highly demanding business segments
  • Respond to customer requests for quotes in a timely manner
  • Maintain the commercial charter quotation database, costing database and the commercial charter pro forma contract
  • Negotiate and conclude Commercial Charter Agreements
  • Guide, train, coach and review the performances and immediately address any shortcomings to derive an effective and high-performance sales team
  • Ensures that all Charter Sales protocols are maintained and adhered to
  • Organise and support the company’s participation at individual or joint airline events, seminars, road-shows and functions
  • Assume additional responsibilities as assigned

Requirements:

  • Possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in a business-related field
  • Preferably with at least 5 years in the aviation industry with experience in sales and marketing or in similar capacity/function
  • Proven track record achieving annual sales quota targets and business objectives
  • Demonstrates strong knowledge of airline procedures and distribution systems
  • Strong negotiating, influencing, problem solving and decision making skills
  • Strong leadership, organizational, communication and planning skills
  • Ability to manage a geographically distributed sales team and interact with all levels in the company
  • Ability to work independently and in teams
  • Attention to details and follow-up
  • Position located in Singapore, United Kingdom or United States (Burbank & New York) office
