An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Quality Engineer to join Britten-Norman Aircraft Limited, producer of one of the most successful civil aircraft ever manufactured in the UK.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
The Quality Engineer will be responsible for independent quality oversight of production and repair operations and associated supporting functions in accordance with company and regulatory requirements.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the ability to develop and implement the Internal Audit Programme in compliance with company and regulatory requirements. The Quality Engineer will take responsibility for the monitoring of the airworthiness regulations and standards, reviewing changes and or proposed changes and their impacts on the company's management systems and procedures.
Experience with working with regulators, the ability to read and understand engineering data and working knowledge of EASA Parts 21G & Part 145 requirements is essential. An understanding of ISO 9001 / AS9100 series requirements, MAA regulatory requirements and the use of quality software would be advantageous.
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 GCSEs at grade C or above and hold certifications in Quality Assurance such as an ONC or HNC and have demonstrable experience in the aerospace industry.
Any offer of employment will be conditional, subject to the successful completion of the Company's Security Clearance process. This will be arranged by the Company on the candidate's behalf.
