Carbon60 are seeking a Quality Auditor to join a growing and vibrant international organisation who are located in Gloucester.

My client are a large international Aerospace organisation who pride themselves on achieving, developing their staff, increasing job satisfaction and empowering and inspiring there employees.

Working as the Quality Auditor you will be working on the on-going development of their industry leading Quality department. The main criteria of the role is to assess risk in various manufacturing processes by assessing process inputs, material, machine, method, measurement, and environment.

The type of individual were seeking is someone who has the ability to possess a high level of self-motivation and be able to demonstrate knowledge in the use and assessment of test equipment, tooling, gauging, special processing, workmanship standards and procedures throughout all production areas.

Additionally you will perform a wide variety of Quality Control tasks throughout the production system. This will include product inspection and the verification of Operators attention to detail to drawings, instructions, procedures, product testing requirements and special processes.

Within this role it may also give you scope to assist Management and Engineering personnel with corrective action which will investigate non-conforming hardware and processes. There could also be a possibility you may be asked to provide system audit support on various processes and operating procedures relative to Business Systems.

Key Skills and Experience:

Machining (Mills, Lathes, EDM, prismatic machining) experience is essential
Previous experience of working with complex products and to close tolerances (microns)
Have an analytical and methodical approach to problem solving
Be able to interpret engineering drawings and processes and procedures
Be a good communicator at all levels
Have experience of working with Quality Systems
Apprenticeship Trained.
