Responsibilities:
Ensuring that the project is completed on time by effectively overseeing all issues around risks, schedules and communications
Determine project schedules by studying project plans and specifications; calculating time requirements; sequencing project elements
Maintain project runs efficiently and on schedule by monitoring project progress; coordinating activities and resolving problems
Manage work parties on site to ensure all work is progressed efficiently and safely
Ensuring that everyone on site are working in accord with the company's Health & Safety Policy
Perform overall quality control of the work, (budget, schedule, plans, personnel’s performance) conducting base inspections as required and reporting regularly on project status
Assist in the development of existing and new processes to enhance the quality of the work
Liaise with the engineers and project management team to resolve issues and conflicts regarding work, planning and resourcing
Ensure all work is carried out to a satisfactory quality and technical standards.
Requirements:
Degree (or equivalent) in Engineering/industrial engineering and management or similar
Proven project management or Minimum 5 years’ managerial experience working within an Engineering industry preferably aviation.
Good Organisational, analytical & strong problem-solving skills
Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate directly with engineers and managers
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Work with a high level of individual responsibility
Highly proficient IT skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project
