We are currently recruiting for several Production operatives to join our major Aerospace and defence client based in Luton. These are contract position and will last a minimum of 6 months (providing consistency in the work load and good performance levels)

The client is a market leader in the design, development and manufacture of advanced technology systems for civil and military aircraft.

The vacancies are within the Ice Protection Systems facility.

The successful candidates will have the following...

  • good hand skills
  • the ability to read drawings
  • be used to working to closed tolerances and also working to deadlines
  • experience of metalspraying aircraft surface contours, shotblasting, Autoclave and Schubert Presses.
  • working with resins, glass cloth and paste, and curing ovens.
  • Laminating skills would also be a great asset, but not essential.

Applicants should be used to working in a skilled environment requiring a high level of attention to detail. It is essential that individuals are team players.

The pay rate is £12.87 per hour PAYE. 37 hours a week. Double day shift pattern. 6am-2pm one week, 2pm-10pm the following.
