Production Control Assistant
To ensure the smooth flow of work through the workshop, by production process management.
*Ensure full compliance with Health and Safety, Airworthiness, Quality and the clients procedures.
*Maintenance and correct use of Operational IT systems.
*Maintenance and correct use of Operational documentation.
*Raise and clear works order documentation in a timely manner.
*Maintain component shortage database.
*Maintain SAP & IT systems accuracy.
*Load workshops to the clients plans and progress chase throughput to support OTD.
*Interact with other departments to overcome difficulties and support OTD.
*Audit workshop work in progress.
*Maintain workshop performance measures.
*Arrange workshop minor items sub contract requirements to plan.
*Arrange workshop delivery logistics.
*Co-ordinate workshop tool calibration requirements.
*Manage documentation archiving and microfilming.
*Co-ordinate on wing support activities.
*Support & complete monthly action plan process to timescale.
*Co-ordinate the activities of direct reports where applicable.
*Coach and mentor other colleagues.
*Ensuring a working environment in the team that reflects the clients Mission, Vision and Values.
*Displaying personal work behaviours that reflect the clients Mission, Vision and Values
*Deputise within the department as required.
*Carry out other duties within their competencies as required by the Planning & Production Control Team Leader.
Proven numerical skills
Proven literacy skills
Recognised IT qualification.
Numerical - to GCSE or equivalent.
Literacy - to GCSE or equivalent
Excellent communication and planning skills.
In depth working knowledge of SAP, Excel & Word.
Experience in the production control of multi task activities.
Experience at Certifier level.
