Part Time -  Production Planning Co-ordinator

RAF Shawbury

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a part time Production Planning Co-ordinator based at our Shawbury site. The role would suit someone with excellent analytical skills and an eye for detail. Working as part of a small team the role holder will support the Chief Engineer and operation with helicopter maintenance production planning.  This is on a job shared basis and would require 2.5 days either at the beginning or end of the week to suit the incumbent job share.

  • Maintain the maintenance production planning tools in line with the current model to ensure effective maintenance input control and prevent delays.
  • Control the rotable spares due spreadsheet and monitor the progress of all rotable changes and liaising with Logistics to ensure timely procurement to meet the maintenance input requirements.
  • Provide updated reports on aircraft hours and serviceability and monitor production progress

Successful candidates should have:-

  • Ability to work alone or within a team supporting others to achieve team goals.
  • Ability to compile detailed technical reports and accurate information for management review.
  • Ability to demonstrate good analytical and problem solving skills supporting continuous improvement and be fully Excel literate to enable the generation and maintenance of Excel spreadsheets.
  • Takes personal responsibility for own actions, utilises their own initiative to respond to work tasks thus ensuring completion in a timely manner.
  • Ability to adapt communication style to meet the needs of individuals and provides clear and concise verbal and written information.
  • Ability to present themselves in a professional manner to work colleagues and the customer.

This role is offered on a part time basis.
