New exciting permanent position for a Painter based in Stevenage!!!

Our global Aerospace and Defence are looking for an experienced Painter to join their expanding team in Stevenage.

As a painter, you will be able to operate as a multi-skilled, adaptable worker to ensure maximum effectiveness and efficiency of the Paint Shop.
To have a full knowledge of processes and tools required for the preparation and painting of composite aerospace parts
The ability and willingness to learn the additional skills necessary for the application of some of the specialist paint finishes required for their product range.

Key Responsibilities:

*Ensure parts are produced on a 'right first time' basis
*Ensure that any calibrated equipment used is within date
*Ensure that all materials are in shelf life prior to use
*Responsible for the timely completion of work tasks in line with Methods of Manufacture, Job Card and the logging of job progress in Single Point (Time Keeping System)
*Responsible for highlighting any non-conformance to the Process Team Leader
*Adhering to the requirements of their Methods of Manufacture and Quality Procedures
*Compliance with all risk assessments and company Environment, Health & Safety procedures relevant to all work activities
*Reporting of all incidents, accidents and near misses as per the company's procedure and implementation of identified corrective actions
*Maintain good standards of housekeeping in designated work area(s)

Qualifications / Experience / Skills:

The successful candidate must have at least 3 years' experience in paint spraying and must have the ability to work through own initiative as well as being able to work well within a team.
Knowledge of working with composite components is preferred, but not essential.
Must be a team worker, but capable of lone working when required.
