Following a restructure within the team, we're now looking for an Optimisation Analyst to work within the Rostering Team of our Operations Control Centre. As an integral part to the team, you will work closely with Rostering Co-ordinators to ensure that all crew rosters are published on time, whilst meeting all safety, cost, legal compliance & quality requirements.
You will liaise with an external provider prior to the optimisation stage of the roster build to ensure the input parameters are correct and will produce the best output. Once the rosters have been optimised, a questioning mind is required to be able to check the rosters created by the optimiser to ensure they meet our expected quality levels, before passing them to the Rostering Co-ordinators. You will liaise with various stakeholders in the roster from outside of the team and be aware of the implications of changes to establishment levels and labour agreements have on the rosters.
You will use the optimiser to undertake ad hoc analysis with a view to identify ways to improve the rosters and rostering process and provide cost impact analysis into business decisions
What we seek from you:
Operational airline experience ideally gained in a crewing or operational role
Good working knowledge of EASA FTL's, Fatigue risk management or other crew compliance regulations
Understanding of AIMS is desirable
Understanding of the principals of Optimisation and experience of working with optimisation software is preferred, and an understanding of the underlying maths would be ideal, but on the job training will be provided in these areas as required
Attention to detail
Whilst we seek these skills, we really want a proactive, self-starter with the proven ability to work on your own initiative. You will demonstrate an inquisitive mind, coupled with a strong customer focus and a real desire to continuously improve the quality of the Roster Product and the ability to see the operation beyond the publication date.
The role is a Monday to Friday office hour's role.
