We are now looking to recruit an Operations Technical Specialist to take responsibility for the management, production, control and distribution of company navigation information - to ensure a safe, legal and cost effective operation. The role is a key subject matter expert for the operation of the Lido flight planning system.


The key accountabilities are as follows;


Optimisation of the flight planning system and aeronautical data to deliver superior business returns.

Flight planning benefits identification and reporting.

Provide key input to the development of the flight planning system internally and externally.

Provide a focal point for medium term ATM developments.

Support the navigation aspects of network development and airport authorisation.

Close co-operative support to the established specialists.

We are looking for someone with the following skills;

Degree level qualification in an aviation related subject (ATPL/FAA dispatch license).

A minimum of three years' experience in flight planning and navigation, with a broad experience in flight operational matters to include aircraft weight and balance, and performance.

Professional training (OEM) in flight planning and navigational principles, preferably Lido/Flight.

Exceptional analytical skills, to include superior Excel capability.

The ability to interact with a highly qualified pilot workforce.

Meticulous attention to detail with high technical and safety standards in a pressurised environment.

A forward thinker who can identify opportunities for the business.
