Our Operations Planning Analyst is responsible for providing analytical support and tools to prove, test and model the crew establishment plans for the next 3 to 36 months. This person provides complex analytics, forecasting and decision support tools to enable easyJet to deliver world-class operational performance at the lowest cost through innovation and continuous improvement.
In this role you'll lead analysis from problem definition through to implementation and you'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver sustainable and continuous improvement. You'll present complex analyses in simple terms and communicate recommendations to all levels of the organization including senior management.
You'll develop detailed analysis, actionable recommendations and decision support tools through rigorous analysis, collaboration with subject matter experts. You'll design, develop and implement decision support tools and you'll also provide ad-hoc data extraction, analysis, modelling and visualisation as necessary.
You'll identify opportunities to improve risk and cost management, proposing improvements to optimise our operational performance and you'll ensure compliance with the FTL Post Holders' accountabilities by respecting the Safety Management System and being alert to any compromise of airworthy aircraft, safe procedure and serviceable operating equipment.
You'll work independently and have accountability for multiple concurrent projects including our Crew Supply Chain Management System while delivering accurate and appropriate findings.
You'll develop and champion best practices and assist with an appropriate approach to the given problem and you'll act as a mentor for other analysts within the business area. Finally, you'll ensure that recommendations are followed through to implementation and benefits are achieved.
To be considered for this role you'll have:
Analysis experience in a product or service-related industry
Good working knowledge of statistical techniques including time series and multivariate analysis.
Broad understanding of mathematical optimisation and its applications.
You'll be an expert in Excel, Access and tools used for statistical analysis and you'll have a good understanding of formal process improvement methodologies like Six Sigma, Lean, etc.
Database skills that allow you to extract the data you need.
