Our Client Is One of the world’s leading independent engine consultancies, they are now recruiting for an Operations Manager, Maintenance Services.
The post holder will be responsible for the day to day management and continuous improvement of the maintenance and planning activity deliverables relative to engine maintenance, inspections and storage in line with aviation regulations, Maintenance Organisation Exposition and quality and health and safety standards.
The post holder will also be responsible for effectively managing and developing a team of maintenance and planning personnel.
The post holder must be an organised, articulate and determined individual with strong EASA 145 experience. The post holder must have previously held management, supervisory or team leader positions within aviation maintenance environments and be a qualified aircraft/engine technician with at least 10yrs relevant experience.
The role may require an element of off-site / overseas travel.
The role will require the willingness to participate in an ‘on call rota’ to cover out of hours activities.
Duties and Responsibilities:
The post holder will be required to facilitate/process the efficient and effective functioning/management of all maintenance projects, both on-site and off-site and will be responsible for the following:
Managing the day to day operations and deliverables of the maintenance (on and off site) and planning teams.
Providing and agreeing maintenance service pricing and terms and conditions with the customer
Aware of all WAML/Customer contractual arrangements and ensuring all contractual documentation is in place and that the obligations of the agreements between WAML/customer are fulfilled.
Ensure the work scope is agreed with customer and aligns with relative completed forms from the customer
Ensure internal processes and procedures relative to EASA/FAR 145 activities are observed and maintained.
