CAE Parc Aviation are now recruiting for an Operations Librarian for our Client, an airline based in Ireland.

The Operations Librarian is responsible for the overall management and organisation of the Operations library and the management and promulgation of electronic documentation and charting. Liaising closely with ATR, Navtech and a number of ancillary service providers, this role will evolve in the future as our client looks to implement an EFB solution.

Activities:

  • Manage & Support the Document Management System and Publications
  • Revision & Maintenance of Manufacturer (ATR) and Operational Manuals
  • Revision & Maintenance of Navigation Airway Manuals and Route Mapping
  • Master Distribution Records List kept current and updated accordingly. Revision, manual location and control version of all Master Documents and Manuals maintained
  • Keep abreast of the latest Statutory, Operational, technical and Safety industry developments
  • Monitor Captain Voyage Reports and take corrective action
  • Ensure Safety Critical information is distributed to the relevant personnel in a timely manner
  • Distribute all external documents as necessary including Sate Regulation, ICOA publications, Manufacturer data updates, EASA SIB’s, State & European Standards & recommended practices and AIP
  • Check, Replenish, and Maintain fleet aircraft libraries and Base Library listings. (this may involve out of office hours working)
  • Future EFB – Ensure data integrity, security and revision status is maintained in a controlled environment. Back Office control and management of the EFB system

Skills and Qualifications:

In order to satisfy the company requirements the successful candidate must be able to demonstrate the following:

  • Flight Operational and Technical knowledge
  • Professional, with proven strong interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to deal with manufacturer and state authorities.
  • High degree of organisation skills
  • Able to manage remotely
  • Meticulous with good attention to detail
  • Communication skills
  • Flexibility with working hours
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills;
  • Proficient in MS Office suite and comfortable learning new systems.
  • Full clean drivers licence is required;
  • Previous experience in an administration role required;
  • 5 year criminal background check/Garda clearance required to be completed.

Preferable, but not essential:

Experience of implementing/managing an EFB solution.
