AeroProfessional are currently seeking suitably qualified operations controllers, of all levels, to fill permanent vacancies on behalf of our various prestigious clients.

We require a highly motivated and assertive individual who possesses strong communication and problem solving skills and will thrive in a demanding environment. The ability to work under one’s own initiative as well as integrate well within a team is integral to success in this role.


Responsibilities include:

  • Preparation of pre-flight documentation including all aspects of flight planning (short and long range) in accordance with regulatory requirements and ops manuals,
  • Creating, filing and management of ATC flight plans
  • Scheduling in accordance with Flight Time Limitations (FTL) scheme
  • Proactively coordinating the flight program and arranging the appropriate logistics
  • Coordinating flight arrangements with clients and brokers
  • Providing charter quotations

For the more senior roles that we have available, the successful candidate will have minimum of three years’ experience working as an Operations Controller, preferably within a civilian environment, and be competent in flight planning and the associated regulatory requirements (EASA Ops). Experience in working for an operator with an Air Operators Certificate is advantageous. The positions all involve working shifts including weekends, nights and public holidays.

  • Previous experience within an aviation operations flight planning environment
  • Competent in flight planning in accordance with regulatory requirements; experience with Jeppesen flight planning products is beneficial
  • Demonstrable ability to take a proactive approach to problem solving
  • Knowledge and familiarity with national regulations and EASA OPS
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
  • Full UK driving license
