Are you a Certifying B1 / B2 Licensed Engineer, type rated for A320 and looking to increase your capabilities while maintaining your aircraft approvals?

JMC Aviation are working with a major line maintenance provider to recruit a permanent Part 145 OJT & 147 Practical Instructor.

Reporting to the Training Manager, the OJT Instructor will be responsible for the delivery of on the job training at London Gatwick Airport. Courses are run over a 6 week period, whereby the instructor mentors and develops 3 students on live aircraft and real defects/maintenance, Monday to Thursday, with a two week gap in-between for admin, course critique and improvement.

To be considered for this role you will need:

  • EASA Part 66 B1 / B2 Licence

  • Recent approvals on A320 Family CFM56 / V2500

  • Good communication skills with the ability to effectively listen

  • Be engaging, with the skills to inspire the next generation of aircraft engneers

  • Knowledge of the training aspects of Part 145, 66 and 147

  • Foundation of Instructional Techniques course or equivalent

  • Previous experience as an instructor is not essential as training will be provided
