This is a very good opportunity for an NDT Technician (Level 2) to join an aerospace engineering business, based close to Dunstable.

The successful NDT Technician will be joining a business who design and manufacture complex mechanical systems used within the aerospace industry.

As the NDT Technician you will be working in production and will be required to perform a range of NDT tasks and use a range of associated NDT equipment. It will be your responsibility as the NDT Technician to monitor, measure and record NDT data such as weight and dimensions.

All candidates applying for this NDT Technician opportunity must be eligible for security clearance.

NDT Technician Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2-5 years' experience working in a NDT Level 2 position, trained to EN4179 standards
  • Experienced in Fluorescent Penetrant Inspection, Fusion Welding, Radiography & Assessment
  • Skilled in the use of hand tools i.e. Graticules, Callipers, Depth Gauges, Micrometers
  • Must be able to read and understand various instructions, routings, drawings and procedures
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Flexible approach to working
