MAINTEINANCE SUPPLY LIAISON


Identification:

Job Title: MRTT Maintenance Supply  Liaison (MSL)

Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

Experience:

Ten years overall experience in Supply of which three years in Airbus A330/A340 aircraft.

Qualifications:

Ability to read, speak and write English satisfactorily is mandatory.

Knowledge of Maintenance Supply procedures.

General knowledge of electric, electronic, hydraulic, and mechanical theory that applies to fixed winged aircraft and their various flight systems; principles of aircraft flight characteristics, and aircraft maintenance procedures.

Knowledge of policies and procedures relating to administration, communication, correspondence, messages, publications, and forms management, overall organizational structure, and its interrelationship with the mission.

Knowledge and proficient in using various types of computer
hardware and Microsoft software, and general office equipment.

Tasks:

The MSL will be primarily responsible for management of maintenance Supply actions and providing assistance to maintenance personnel in resolving problems with Supply support. To accomplish this task, the MSL representative will perform the following minimum requeriments:

  
Verify and monitor reportable Urgency Justification Codes
     
Advice the MSS Supervisor, MOFC, and other affected personnel of the overall Supply situation as it affects maintenance.

         
Coordinate on bench stock and special level requirements with Shop Chiefs.

         
Participate in maintenance pre-inspection planning meetings. The MSL will assist the work center with justification and narratives, as required.

         
Process requirements for the Time change Items and TCTO/SB parts or kits.

         
Coordinate with Base Supply to ensure required items are delivered in a timely manner.

Monitor the Maintenance Support Section aircraft Tail Number Bins (TNBs) and make sure that components are used on the appropriate aircraft while on station.

Identify candidates for turning in to Supply when components are in a TNB in excess of 3 workdays.


Review Supply delivery priority times to ensure adequate timely response

Review trends and advise of possible delivery priority abuse. Provide inputs to lower priorities to the MSC and MOFC when it does not adversely affect the mission.

Coordinate with Base Supply on requisitioning and updating of spares recommended on the Recommended Spare Parts List

Coordinate with Base Supply n the Follow-On Supply Support Listings, and the manufacturer’s recommended spares support listings for new equipment.

Assist work centers to follow up on non-reportable and reportable back-orders. To include equipment as required.
Addiontionally, provide assistance in the submission of Mission Impact
Statements.

Attend the Monthly Provisioning Meeting.
