Role:  MRO Administrator
Salary: £15,000- £17,000 pa

Location: West Sussex

Own Transport is essential due to the location of the office.

Client:

My client is a global component service provider to the aviation industry.

My client supports customers 24 hours a day, 365 days a year

My client specialises in tailor made aircraft support solutions. Providing an extensive range of Aircraft Component Services including Trading, Pooling and Repair Management of aircraft spare parts with global locations and Main Base in west Sussex strategically positioned for all major UK routes by road, air or sea, they’re now looking for an MRO Administrator to join them on a permanent contract.

Role:

To assist the MRO Team with administration of aircraft component repairs through approved suppliers in order to maximise inventory availability and minimise cost. Assist with the management of suppliers to ensure on time delivery and high service levels in order to support both internal and external customer requirements.

Responsibilities include:

  • Raise repair orders on approved suppliers in accordance existing procedures.
  • Effectively expedite and report on all open repair/sales orders, repair facility queries and customer cost approvals using specialised IT expediting system.
  • Ensure repair quotations are recorded on the system and reviewed within existing processes and procedures.
  • Process quote approvals.
  • Liaise with suppliers. Build successful relationships with designated suppliers through a combination of written and telephone communication.
  • Internal & external customer support. Ensure MRO customers have all relevant data concerning repair & overhaul requirements
  • Management of emails. Ensure centralized repairs and individual inbox is cleared of emails daily.
  • Produce and present various MRO reports including order status, KPI’s, supplier and customer performance.
  • Liaise with internal departments as the nature of the specific task may require
  • Understand and adhere to Export Control regulations where relevant
  • Assist the MRO Team with all tasks as required

Requirements:

  • Preferably previous working experience in an administrative role
  • Knowledge and experience of aircraft components advantageous
  • Problem solving ability
  • Numerate, accurate with the ability to meet deadlines
  • Analytical thinking and reporting skills.
  • Self-motivated, flexible and adaptable to work in a busy environment
  • Excellent communication skills at all levels
  • Strong organisation and administration skills
  • Ability to prioritise and manage workloads
  • Good computer skills, highly proficient in the use of Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Ability to work a flexible working week of 37.5 hours consisting of day shifts.
  • Occasional travel to customers and suppliers worldwide.
  • Participate in training as required
  • Any other duties as maybe required
