Chevron Technical Services require a Materials Manager who will be responsible for the day to day management of the materials department including all supply chain and strategic procurements activities.

You will be required to ensure all regulatory requirements are fully met exceeding internal and external customers. This will be achieved by applying direction and coordination to the materials department.

Duties will include:

  • Plan, develop and implement strategy and policies for supply chain and procurement (including parts administration, supplier management, materials management and procurement, parts repair management, stock management, parts loans/exchanges, good in/out, shipping stores, logistics, parts sale management)
  • Maintain accuracy of the MRO system with regards to all material department requirements
  • Manage, develop and negotiate existing and new contracts with suppliers
  • Maintain awareness and knowledge of regulatory requirements in relation to the management and control of materials
  • Develop key performance indicators to measure the effectiveness of the material management operation and produce management reports for departmental performance against these KPI’s

Experience

  • Experience of setting, developing and mainlining materials department procedures
  • Previous Materials Management role in an airline or MRO
  • Experience of managing departmental health and safety compliance
  • Experience of producing and managing departmental budgets

 

Candidates who have the relevant experience will be considered for interview
