Aeroco Group International is a leading commercial Aircraft Component Repair Station based at Manchester International Airport in the United Kingdom.
We are currently seeking a Materials Controller to join the team.
Salary: £23,000 - £28,000 Dependent upon experience
Hours of work: 40 hours per week
You will be responsible for running full tender processes, negotiating with new and existing suppliers to drive value for money, reduce cost and secure the best possible commercial terms. Stakeholder engagement is a key part of this role, and as such you will be expected to build excellent relationships across all levels of the business and cross-functionally, as well as externally with your suppliers, managing their performance and addressing any performance / delivery issues that arise in order to rectify in a timely manner.
Skills and Experience:
Previous experience of a comparable procurement role
Clearly evidenced demonstrable savings / procurement related achievements
CIPS or working toward is highly advantageous but not essential.
Highly analytical mindset
Strong, confident personality with the ability to interact with and influence
Good level of understanding of the full procurement life-cycle, including full tendering process with evidence of having led full tender exercises.
Previous experience working in the aviation industry
Due to location own transport and a full driving licence are essential.
