About Your Job

In this role you will oversee all of the operational issues along with the relevant teams for smooth and wholly efficient round the clock FBO operation.     A high priority will be the safety of visitors and staff, safety on the ramp and maintenance of all FBO equipment but equally important will be maintaining a close contact with all FBO customers  to ensure service meets and exceeds the clients expectations. You will develop and implement strategic plans designed to achieve agreed plans within specified time frames as well. 

Your operational functions here will include overall responsibility for initiating, building and maintaining client relationships, and achieve and maintain extraordinary customer satisfaction levels and manage all of their expectations.  You will hold accountability for the FBO smooth functioning, manage ground and passenger handling in well organised and well executed fashion, around the clock, and create rosters for staff to ensure full coverage for the whole operation. As well,  though training, operations instructions, planning and a disciplined approach to aircraft and equipment, you will ensure safe aircraft manoeuvring on the apron and restricted tamp areas.

Communicating with a great array of people from senior management to many aviation organisations, employees and partnerships is crucial in the role but the most vital communication will be to clients and representatives. You must have extraordinary ability to fulfil the clients every to ensure a premium first class service.  Clear and effective skills at all levels relating to arrival and departure of business jet aircraft, ramp and apron safety and critical information to fellow personnel and third parties is also utterly essential.

Another larger part of the role will involve liaison and networking throughout the whole industry using contacts, associations, partnerships, other professionals, corporations and VIP customers.  You will be an effective manager and a leader, taking on varying tasks under these headings, working with senior management to set up long term growth of the FBO, audits, handling and solving complaints and inefficiencies and planning operational training to ensure exemplary service levels.

About You
Essential skills include at least 7 years of previous, job related experience, a Bachelors Degree or equivalent, previous experience in an FBO operation holding a management role and considerable first class customer service skills. You should have sound knowledge of business jet aviation operations and be able to manage a variety of daily operational activities.
