Manager - Aircraft Communications

CAE Parc Aviation are presently accepting applications for the role of Aircraft Communications Manager on a permanent direct contract with our client based in Philippines.

Job responsibilities

  • Manages the aircraft communication server.
  • Maintains integration between the server and 3rd party systems.
  • Participates in future system introductions by integrating system via the server.
  • Monitors and analyzes communication costs on monthly basis and presents reports.
  • Innovates in a way of communicating to the aircraft a minimum cost, in order to reduce comm. costs.
  • Focal for all related aircraft comm. concerns in Flight Operations.
  • Liaises with provider in order to maintain an acceptable level service.
  • Coordinates with avionics software customizations and system malfunctions.
  • Analyzes market trends and requests providers for system improvements.

Job qualifications

  • Graduate of IT course or Aircraft-related Engineering.
  • Must have 2-4 years' work experience in Avionics equipment, with understanding of Aviation Communication Systems.
  • With knowledge in ACARS, AFTN, Type B messaging, SATCOM Comm (immarsat, iradium).
