Are you an experienced Business Aviation Maintenance Manager? Do you hold an EASA licence? Are you willing to be based in Asia? If so please read on, our Maintenance Manager opportunity could be the job for you:

 

Oaklands Global is looking to recruit a Maintenance Manager to join our Business Aviation Client on a permanent basis in Asia.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Review list of discrepancies on articles in for maintenance. Plan and prepare maintenance or repair estimates and determine the scope of work and personnel required,
  • Responsible for the Maintenance Facility and assigned Technical Procedures and Forms, together with conducting reviews and approval of revision,
  • Oversee the maintenance of aircraft, power plants flight system, parts and assemblies, for repair or overhaul,
  • Handle questions and problems on work in progress, as required,
  • Confer, discuss and provide information to customers on scope of work, maintenance required and obtain approval of work orders Conduct ongoing analysis of competition to including selling points, product offerings and pricing,
  • Creates new opportunities by developing relationships with customers and airport authorities,
  • Develop new business plans with capital requirements and anticipated performance. Prepare the maintenance facility budget with insight for the capability of and opportunities for maintenance,
  • Responsible for financial management of maintenance including capital expenditures, forecasting, budgeting, audit performance and expense management,
  • Carry out management responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws,
  • Interview, hire and train employees; plan, assign and direct work; appraise performance conduct merit reviews, address employee relation issues,
  • Responsible for ensuring, certifying documentation repair and maintenance work conforms to approve technical data, Maintenance Facility procedures and company quality control standards. May approve for return to service maintenance, major repair and alteration on aircraft/power plants or components thereof for which the Maintenance Facility is rated
  • Other duties as directed by the Company

 

Job Requirements:

  • More 10 years in Aviation Industry, preferable on the Business and/or private Aviation Experience
  • More than 5 years of experience in managing a sizable engineering team, in aviation related industries.
  • Hold an EASA and/or FAA Maintenance License, and/or a Bachelor degree or above in Engineering.
  • Liaison experience with EASA and FAA regulators
  • Working knowledge of inspection procedures, methods, equipment and accepted industry standards. 
  • Communication skills, verbal and written, in English are essential
