As part of the team you’ll have the opportunity to engage with all aspects of the airlines operation, delivering the highest standards of Aircraft performance through managing the airlines internal Part 145 organisation. With the current program introducing the cutting edge NEO aircraft into the fleet and A321 aircraft coming in 2018 there couldn’t be a better time to join the team.
What’s the role?
As a member of the airlines Executive Management Team you will report directly to the Technical Director of the Part 145 organisation and be part of the team delivering Europe’s highest technical despatch reliability as recognised by Airbus. Your role will be to develop and grow the airlines internal Part 145 capabilities in support of its 270+ Aircraft. You’ll lead a team consisting of line stations at LTN and LPL, including a 2 bay hangar facility at LTN. As Maintenance Manager you’ll also support the airline in make or buy decisions on future insource or outsource activity. At easyJet safety is our no. 1 priority so as part of your role you will ensure that all in house maintenance activity supports both regulatory standards and easyJet’s industry leading safety and technical standards. What we’re looking for:
Experienced leader within the Airline/MRO sector with the ability to build, lead, and motivate multi skilled teams
Experience of working effectively with multiple internal and external stakeholders
Ability to develop and manage budgets whilst constantly striving to deliver costs savings through innovative ways of working and strict supplier management
At least five years’ experience in continuing airworthiness; and an appropriate licence in compliance with Annex III (Part-66).Or an aeronautical degree or national equivalent
Formal aeronautical maintenance training
Detailed Knowledge of Part 145 and Part M its practical application
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Highly IT literate with skills in particular Microsoft Office and knowledge of AMOS desirable.
