Are you an experienced Maintenance Data Analyst from an aviation background?
JMC are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Data Analyst for a long term contract based in the South West of the UK.
Long term contract
Working Monday to Fridayhowever flexible working hours
Review the current reliability program and create process maps.
Identify improvements for the reliability program and define additional processes required.
Assist in gathering in a centralized database the operator's aircraft reliability and maintenance data
Assist in developing database queries and reports to facilitate the analysis of the operator's aircraft reliability and maintenance data
Analyze and make recommendations to improve the customers' aircraft reliability and maintenance data collection and reporting process
Report regularly on the quality of the customer's aircraft reliability and maintenance data
Assist in developing new processes and ensure complete implementation within agreed upon timelines.
Develop comprehensive reports to provide insight on reliability performance of company's fleet.
Develop report to meet the Regulatory Authorities requirements of company's reliability program.
Define processes and tools to allow the operator to maintain their maintenance program and adjust scheduled task intervals according to fleet performance.
Train various stake holders in the reliability program on new processes as well as on analysis techniques to optimize the use of available data and reports.
Assist the Reliability Engineer (s) at the airline in performing various analyses as required.
Work closely with Maintenance Engineering team members
The ideal candidate will need to meet these requirements:
University Degree in Engineering with at least 3 years' experience in Industrial or Aerospace or College Diploma in Aviation Technology with at least 5 years' experience in Aerospace Industry.
Strong analytical abilities and experience using statistics to resolve engineering problems.
Able to work independently or as part of a team
Proficiency with Microsoft Software products - especially Excel and Access
Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
Good knowledge of aircraft systems is desirable
Knowledge of the Weibull distribution would be an asset
Knowledge of Maintenance Program Development (MSG-3) will be an asset.
