Monarch Engineering; Line Maintenance provider of the year 2017; are in their 50th year.   We are a dedicated and customer focused company who are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Control Engineer to be based in Birmingham.

Role

The role of Maintenance Control Engineer to be based in Birmingham is within the Maintenance Planning and Control department to ensure that all maintenance activity is carried out in the most efficient manner maximizing financial performance and customer satisfaction by way of oversight and support to the check management team and Line station engineers to ensure that the maintenance activity plan is closely followed, and any deviation is agreed by Maintenance Planning and Control.

Key Responsibilities

To oversee maintenance activities across Line and Base Maintenance and when applicable make operational decisions to ensure the maintenance program is supported and delivered.

Act as the control point for all events concerning P145 activities.

The maintenance Control Engineer based in Birmingham will an understanding of the overall maintenance plan and be conversant with MAEL Safety Management Systems.

The Key Responsibilities for the Maintenance Control Engineers based in Birmingham are;

To oversee the activity levels across Line and Base Maintenance and when applicable make operational decisions to ensure the maintenance program is supported and delivered.

To be able to use AMOS/MDOC/PM Viewer as well as supporting customer systems as applicable to support the required maintenance activities.

Ensure all activities are carried out IAW H&S & COSHH regulations.

Ensure fully conversant with all relevant company processes and procedures to perform daily work requirements.

Requirements

The successful Maintenance Control Engineers based in Birmingham will have the following attributes;

Demonstrable experience in Line and Base Maintenance activity with preferable licence rights.

Knowledge of aircraft types and systems with an understanding of budgets with the ability to understand and prioritise task.

Sound understanding of AMOS and its practical uses.

EASA Licence without type ratings (preferred)

EASA Aircraft type ratings (preferred)
