My client in Bahrain is looking for a Line Maintenance Manager to join their Senior Management team:
You will be responsible for ensuring that the Organisation has: -
Appropriate facilities for the planned work.
Office accommodation appropriate to the management of the planned work.
A working environment appropriate to the tasks being undertaken.
Storage facilities for parts, tools, equipment and materials.
Sufficient competent personnel to plan, perform, supervise, inspect and certify the work being performed.
Tools, equipment and materials to perform the planned tasks.
Ensuring all calibrated tools are checked periodically and that the records of these tests are maintained.
All necessary maintenance data as required by Part -145
The Manager is responsible for: -
Notifying the Accountable Manager whenever deficiencies emerge which require
his/her attention in respect of finance and the acceptability of standards.
Shall report any defect/incident or accident, which will affect the safety of the aircraft
or may or has caused injury to person or property to the regulatory authorities through the organisations occurrence reporting system.
He will ensure that maintenance procedures are established and complied with in the organisation and where necessary revise this MOE and other procedures accordingly.
He/she will achieve good maintenance practices and compliance with EASA requirements, and ensure that work is accomplished to the highest standards of airworthiness and workmanship.
He/she is responsible to provide a common work card or worksheet system to be used throughout relevant parts of the organisation and ensure such documents comply with the appropriate regulatory approval
He/she is responsible for ensuring the satisfactory completion of all maintenance and works orders, and that all maintenance is correctly certified and records are retained safely and securely for the statutory period. Unless previously reported by the Operator the Maintenance Manager is responsible for reporting to the manufacturer and to the authority any condition of the aircraft (or a component), which could hazard safety.
He/she will ensure the competence of all personnel engaged in maintenance by
establishing a program of training and continuation training using:
*Internal and external sources
*On the Job instruction and evaluation
*Examination or testing as necessary and:
*Keeping a record of all training, supervising and directing all personnel assigned to the maintenance task.
He/she will assist the Quality Manager and the Safety Manager when conducting Internal investigations of incidents and accidents and will respond to Non- Conformities resulting from quality Audits of the Maintenance Organisation.
He/she will ensure safety standards are observed.
