We currently have vacancies for B1 and/or B2 Licensed Aircraft Engineers at London Gatwick. The candidate must be type rated on A320/CFM56 family. With experience of line maintenance and delivering to a tight dead line. It is essential that the candidate holds an EASA Pt66 licence. Additional duties will include:
Accomplishment of inspection and maintenance tasks as required by customers with optimum use of manpower and resourses in the most efficient and cost effective wayTo liaise at all times with customer liaison engineers, MCC and customer service reps to ensure that they are fully informed of developments in a delay situationResponsible for the standard of work carried out by himself and those under his control.Reporting significant defects encountered to relevant departments.Ensuring the equipment and premises in his charge are maintained to a satisfactory standard and that discrepancies are reported to the appropriate departments, both within and external to The Company.Ensuring all company and legal requirements appertaining to aircraft inspection and maintenance are complied with.Maintaining acceptable airworthiness, safety and performance standards in his area of responsibility.Ensuring that Company Health and Safety policy is complied with.Ensuring that Company and Customer procedures are complied with.Such other duties as may be required from time to time.
Must be able to work in the UK freely and without restrictionsHold type ratings for A320/CFM56 Proven operational experience of working within a line maintenance environment.High degree of customer focus – both internal and external.Able to work effectively in a team, as well as independently, in all levels of the organisation.Demonstrate working knowledge of Health and Safety Legislation.A full driving license as driving airside would be a requirement of the role.
