LICENSED AIRCRAFT ENGINEERS

Job Purpose:

We currently have vacancies for B1 and/or B2 Licensed Aircraft Engineers at London Gatwick.  The candidate must be type rated on A320/CFM56 family. With experience of line maintenance and delivering to a tight dead line. It is essential that the candidate holds an EASA Pt66 licence.  Additional duties will include:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accomplishment of inspection and maintenance tasks as required by customers with optimum use of manpower and resourses in the most efficient and cost effective way
  • To liaise at all times with customer liaison engineers, MCC and customer service reps to ensure that they are fully informed of developments in a delay situation
  • Responsible for the standard of work carried out by himself and those under his control.
  • Reporting significant defects encountered to relevant departments.
  • Ensuring the equipment and premises in his charge are maintained to a satisfactory standard and that discrepancies are reported to the appropriate departments, both within and external to The Company.
  • Ensuring all company and legal requirements appertaining to aircraft inspection and maintenance are complied with.
  • Maintaining acceptable airworthiness, safety and performance standards in his area of responsibility.
  • Ensuring that Company Health and Safety policy is complied with.
  • Ensuring that Company and Customer procedures are complied with.
  • Such other duties as may be required from time to time.

 Essential Criteria:

  • Must be able to work in the UK freely and without restrictions
  • Hold type ratings for A320/CFM56
  • Proven operational experience of working within a line maintenance environment.
  • High degree of customer focus – both internal and external.
  • Able to work effectively in a team, as well as independently, in all levels of the organisation.
  • Demonstrate working knowledge of Health and Safety Legislation.
  • A full driving license as driving airside would be a requirement of the role.


Support with relocation expenses may be available for the right candidates.
