Core contract management processes include the change control process, dispute resolution, performance management, managing contractual documentation, and contractual/commercial risk management.

The primary responsibilities of the contract manager are:

- Participating, as necessary, in developing the solicitation and writing the draft documents. Contract administration must be considered during this process.

- Overcome difficulties which may prevent total fulfillment, and subsequent contract breach. This can lead to a potential cancellation of the supply or provision contract

- Review all contracts or any other documentation where the Company has committed itself and assess legal implications that need to be brought to the executive management’s attention.

- Exercising state remedies, as appropriate, where contract parties’ performance is deficient.

- Review progress of outstanding litigation and liaise with and manage external lawyers.

- Documenting significant events.

- Maintaining appropriate records.

- Providing accurate and effective legal counsel.

- Adding value to an organization through the development of comprehensive

- Contract documents that mitigate risk and penalties.

- Provide continuous leadership, supervision, training and development of department staff ensuring an effective and motivated team.

Qualification

- Male/Female Thai nationality

- LLB undergraduate degree; a Master’s degree will be an added advantage

- At least five years legal experience in a leading organization

- Strong leadership and managerial skills

- Good planning and organization skills; and ability to delicately solve sensitive matters.
