The Customer Experience Team is the beating heart of Travix; Customer Obsession is one of our values! Within this team our reason for being is to give a world class customer experience but focussing on all stages of the customer journey through our website. Our team consists of analysts, customer insights experts, designers, conversion optimization specialists and marketeers. We collaborate closely with our tech colleagues and commercial managers with the customer as the starting point in everything we do.

We work with a data driven approach and combine insights from user tests, on-site feedback and surveys to help us continuously enhance, test and improve our sites; creating the best possible experience.

Recently we have developed the ‘Next Horizon’ for Travix. We designed and developed a completely new front-end for our sites and are rolling it out worldwide. This design has won us multiple awards including a DIA, Lovie and Red Dot Award. Our team has high energy and operates in a fast paced environment; collaboration is key to getting the job done and passion is what drives us.

The role

As a Lead Interaction Designer you have a pivotal role within the design team and the product development process. You will design world class experiences that work on a global scale across different continents, defining journeys and flows, creating wireframes and building prototypes. Moreover, you will set-up and execute user tests to get early stage user feedback. Ideally you will help us pioneer excellence by constantly keeping an eye for ways to optimize our user experience throughout all the digital touch points. And of course you will need to be able to present your ideas in a convincing way!

You will be the interaction lead toward the other designers and as such will be involved in the sprint meetings with the front-end Product Owners. Each sprint you will discuss actual status of products on the roadmap with Product Owners and use this input to maintain the design backlog. In addition you will define and plan design stories to be used by the broader teams and will oversee the total shopping experience.

As an ideal candidate, you will be familiar with e-commerce and keen on conversion. You know how to refine flows in a way that users easily navigate our websites and you understand the importance of customer satisfaction as a driver for loyalty and (commercial) objectives. As a lead interaction designer you will play a key role in delivering a world class customer experience and realizing Travix’ ambition of being best in flights as the challenger in the worldwide Online Travel Agent market.

What you bring to the table

Bachelor or master degree in ‘design for interaction’ or a related study

*

Worked at least 5 years as an interaction designer and can prove that with a convincing portfolio

*

Proven experience in designing high traffic e-commerce sites, preferably on a global scale

*

You know Sketch, Adobe XD and InVision inside and out and you have experience in prototyping

*

You have an analytical mindset, with a keen eye for detail

*

You are creative and also structured

*

You communicate clearly, both orally and in writing

*

You know and are aware of all the latest trends and developments in digital design

*

Perfect command of English

*

You are a result driven and a team player
