** ISDM Team Leader Required **

Oaklands Global are currently looking to hire an experienced ISDM Team Leader to join our reputable aerospace client based in the Middle-East.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the management of the In Service Data Management (ISDM) Team based in the Typhoon Support Centre (TSC).

As the ISDM Team leader you will:

  • Be Responsible for the management of the Typhoon ISDM team providing in-service availability trends in support of Typhoon Fleet Management.
  • Provide a focal point for the management of all in-service data requests, liaising with the Data Integrity Team to ensure a stringent data policy regime is implemented, ensuring confidence across the fleet in support of the flying programme and data analysis requirements of the In-Service Data Management (ISDM) community.
  • Provide the focal point for ISDM, interfacing with the client at all levels to assist with their understanding of in-service data metrics and provide the main interface into
  • Liaise with all key stakeholders to perform trending and analysis activities in support of Root Cause Analysis requirements.
  • Assist with the testing required on Reference and Business data changes before implementation into the live ESS system.
  • Assist with the resolution of reference data queries, including the definition of amendments or issuing of new data, together with the issuing of implementation plans and the authorisation of manual or automatic script file changes.
  • Assist with the priming of the ESS ready for aircraft delivery, together with the checking and acceptance of all new reference and business data deliveries, on behalf of the client HQ.
  • Assist with the assessment of data integrity relating to aircraft and component life stored on the separate systems of the ESS and Technical Publications.
  • Assist with the management and co-ordination of the analysis carried out to Technical Specialist Reports and data quality in order to identify quality trends in maintenance and operational problem areas identifying where data quality improvements can be made.
  • Assist with the management and co-ordination of client approved changes to Industry provided data when this data does not conform to policies or might impact on the operation or maintenance of the aircraft.
  • Provision of in-service data from ESS generated maintenance data which includes aircraft arising, Technical Services Management System Data and the Industrial Exchange and Repair Service (IERS).
  • Produce and maintain in-service data reports on Typhoon operations, fleet maintenance including maintenance man-hours, arising and serviceability trends to allow Route Cause Analysis and identify improvement opportunities where appropriate.
  • Analyse in-service data and reports to determine Typhoon Fleet availability and maintainability trends.
  • Generate and maintain status reports relevant to the ISDM team.
  • Conducting performance reviews for all ISDM team members.
  • Undertaking any additional, reasonable, tasks as may from time to time be requested by management.
  • Providing management and support to structured On-the-Job training for ISDM Team members, in the form of training, coaching, work experience and mentoring as appropriate

To be considered for the position you must be:

  • Qualified to degree level or equivalent HND/HNC in an Aeronautical / Computing discipline, with extensive proven experience in an aircraft support/maintenance environment.
  • Experience of creating Crystal Reports and the use of Oracle databases is essential.
  • Good understanding of the Typhoon ESS and the requirements for continuing airworthiness management is advantageous.
