Job Title: Inflight Service manager                                                 

Salary: Attractive                                       

Job Type: Full-time                                         

Location: Bole Airport, Addis Ababa                                   

Department: Inflight Service                         

Qualification Required: Minimum completion of post graduate level (MA degree) in any field with at least 5 years of experience as management in the area of Manager Inflight Service high level of competency in the profession within recognized Airlines.

Or

Minimum completion of Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in any field with at least 7 years’ experience as management in the area of Manager Inflight Service high level of competency in the profession within recognized Airlines.  

Major Responsibilities

  1. Search for opportunities to improve customers travel experience

  2. Actively practice change management

  3. Devise a means of maintaining Flight Attendant manuals, check lists, and other required publications and/or equipment in a current and serviceable manner

  4. Improve customer service operation and quality requirement

  5. Provide efficient way of handling customer compliments, complaints and claims

  6. Design and propose cabin activities improvement and Aircraft cabin configuration

  7. Boost the overall activities of In-Flight Services

  8. Ensures In-Flight meal services changes are reviewed and recommendations are implemented

  9. Constantly advance standards by comparing with other Airline

  10. Identify opportunities to offer information and make service suggestions based on customer's needs

  11. Initiate Product and service design

  12. Provides product activation and product management advisory support

  13. Formulate Food and beverage service mechanism

  14. Develop contracting and procurement outline

Key Interpersonal Skills

  • Demonstrated ability to make decisions, problem-solve, and evaluate information

  • Good organization and planning skills

  • Result-oriented, strong analytical skills, and demonstrated process improvement success in managing large teams in a continuous improvement culture

  • Creative and innovative thinking to challenge current practices and ways of looking at processes across the organization
