Job Title: HR Business Partner

Line Manager (Job Title): Head of HR Operations.

Purpose of the Role:

The HR Business Partner (HRBP) will work in partnership with the senior management team. Providing their day to day HR generalist support and advising them on the implementation of their people strategy.
Although a part of the HR & Training Team, you will be fully dedicated to your internal clients, their needs and their duties. The HRBP will help to develop, and implement, better people management practices and share in the responsibility for the goals and target delivery witrhin the respective departments. You will serve as the first line of HR "triage", underpinned and supported by the HR&Training teams.
As an experienced HR professional, you will provide a broad knowledge in the various HR areas of expertise. You will build a valuable relationship with internal clients and transfer requests and solutions between the respective functional department and the HR and Training teams
Essential job holder qualifications & experience at recruitment:
Proven experience of understanding the HRBP concept
Excellent planning and organising skills with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
Adept at, or hungry to, operate within the senior leadership space. Demonstrating both an industry and business understanding that places you as a credible business partner.
Graduate calibre and preferably CIPD qualified, Senior HR Advisor / HR Manager and aspiring to improve
Creative thinker who can offer solutions to the various internal departments in line with the people strategy and best business practice
Takes the lead on complex ER matters, providing clear and professional direction
A solid understanding of relevant employment law, HR Policy, procedures and HR best practice.
Strong commercial acumen with an ability to quickly gain a strong understanding of business requirements
Excellent projects management skills, able to deliver, under pressure, within specified time frames
A high degree of empathy and emotional intelligence
Desirable job holder qualifications & experience at recruitment:
Able to work in a reactive and operational HR capacity when required
5 years' experience in a busy HR function with a relevant industrial background
A cultural knowledge or understanding of the military environment would be beneficial
A basic understanding of the military workforce term "Whole Force"
Conversant with, or experience of, Emergency Response Procedures
Excellent HRIS skills. Experience of using HR Select would be very beneficial.
Ability to coach, support and advise people managers on how to develop and support our people to reach their full potential and effectively manage any issues within their teams

Ensure that strategies are created within the department to enhance talent & development opportunities and that they are aligned with the company's key business objectives.
