Our client is looking for a Group Technical Trainer to be based in Gatwick.
In this role you will support Operations and Production in developing the skills and knowledge of its staff and internal/external customers, through the design, delivery and evaluation of effective training. Contribute to the success of the company through training, advice and support for staff and managers throughout the organisation.
You will be responsible for
ensuring that all staff receives adequate product training
All certifying staff receive sufficient continuation training in each 2 year period to ensure the staff have up to date knowledge of relevant technology and other matters.
Organising training in other areas such as Human Factors and similar spheres.
Put in place organisation procedures, courses as directed by the Group Head of QA.
Under supervision of the Group Head of QA maintain the Technical Library.
Compile, distribute and control the series of QDR and Quality Notices.
Ensure accurate and up to date maintenance and all training records across the group of the maintenance and production staff.
Act as a link between airline/customer training departments and any other outside agency in relation to training matters
Must comply with procedures agreed by the competent authority seen in the POE/MOE.
To maintain Integrity working under pressure.
To remain impartial and independent.
Presentation skills to support the Training of staff.
Able to read and interpret technical manuals & drawings.
Ability to influence and interact with all grades of staff.
Detailed knowledge of EASA/FAA/TCCA regulations.
Aviation training course experience.
Knowledge and experience of UKAS 17025 / CS25.853
