A prestigious and technology leading business within the aerospace sector currently have an opportunity available for a General Manager to join their team.
The ideal candidate will have strong commercial and operational experience within a high speed and high tech automated manufacturing plant environment. To be successful you will have significant expertise in operational management, lean production techniques, learned within world class OEM environments, and will have worked in a leading automotive or aerospace manufacturing business in a general management or similar capacity.
You will know and understand in detail how to maximise operational effectiveness and efficiency not only in manufacturing but also in terms of the management of a business team. This role brings with it the leadership responsibility for not only manufacturing but also Finance, HR, IT, Supply Chain, Engineering, Procurement, Lean and Programmes. This global business will require you to have managed all aspects of abusiness, including commercial and have had full P & L responsibility, you must have a credible pedigree inall capacities.
Along with your extensive experience you will need to be high in intellect, able to juggle multiple abstract concepts, able to communicate with skill and engage stakeholders at all levels within an organisation as well as with external customers. Results focused and people centered will characterise your approach.
