Client:

Our Client is one of the world's foremost outsize cargo airlines. They are looking for a Flight Planning Officer to join their busy team based at Stansted airport.

Main Duties

  • Preparation of day-to-day OFP and filing of ATC flight plans
  • Daily checking of NOTAM / ATC / weather / MEL restrictions / ATC for compliance

and provide weekend briefing to OCC

  • Maintenance of flight plan routes to comply with necessary enroute clearances
  • Ensure up-to-date operational information available (eg Jeppesen / OPT / FMC database)
  • Checking of performance / payload limitations / fuel requirements
  • Provide ad-hoc chart flight information (prepare schedule/routing/payload info etc)
  • Arrange necessary clearances / handling as required including ad-hoc flights
  • Provide OCC support as required.

Flight Planning/ATC Officer has rights to:

  • Require and receive all the necessary information and materials from managers and specialists of the Company and the Group of Companies.
  • Require provision of all the necessary recourses from the direct managers.
  • Make proposals of the work improvement related to his/her job description responsibilities.
  • Enhance his/her professional skills through participation in seminars, internships, training courses, including separation from main duties performing (if agreed with the direct manager).
 
 
 

Experience:

  • Ability to communicate at all levels
  • Good organizational skills
  • IT, MS Office
  • Experienced in world-wide flight planning and dispatch
  • 3 years’ experience in airline operations environment
